Niu Niu and Iskandar Widjaja in Concert: Bali 30 August 2026

The August 2026 installment in the continuing exciting line-up of musical talent brought to Bali by The Padma Musical Series will feature two remarkable international talents: Violin virtuoso Iskandar Widjaja, and one of the most exciting classical pianists of the modern era, Niu Niu – appearing together on the stage of The Padma Resort Legian, Bali on Sunday, 30 August 2026

Iskandar Widjaja returns to the Padma Legian Stage for his fourth triumphal appearance since 2022, managing on each successive Bali appearance to leave audiences clamoring for more from an artist who has been described by an admiring press and public as a ”rockstar” and a “true force of nature” who brings his singular blend of technical brilliance and magnetic stage presence wherever he performs before sold-out houses.

Joining Iskandar Widjaja on his 2026 Bali Tour is Niu Niu – an internationally acclaimed classical pianist who, despite not yet thirty years old, has been performing for decades since his professional debut as a preschooler and securing his first classical recording contract at age 9.

Niu Niu and Iskandar Widjaja’s appearance in Bali promises an evening of memorable music, exceptional chemistry, virtuosity, and unequaled artistry.

Iskandar Widjaja

Emanating electrifying charisma and boundary-breaking artistry, Iskandar Widjaja successfully blends classical elegance with pop energy.

Born in Berlin of Arab-Dutch and Chinese-Indonesian ancestry, Widjaja frustrates any efforts at compartmentalization.  In the expert estimation of renowned German conductor and pianist Christoph Eschenbach, the “complexity of his style, his musical imagination with the most varied sonic nuances and facets, as well as his flawless technique and great charisma” mark Iskandar’s fascinating artistic personality.
