Built at a cost of Rp. 1.5 trillion (US$ 85 million), the new mega-mall is a joint venture between PT Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID) and the Mitsubishi Estate Group.
Covering 4.7 hectares within the Bali Turtle Island Development Complex, the Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali Mall and its many tenants will eventually provide employment opportunities for 1,000 workers. Home to seaside restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as retail outlets from a bevy of leading fashion and lifestyle brands, the luxurious mall is expected to support Bali’s goal of attracting quality tourism and satisfying Indonesia’s growing domestic consumer market.
At the opening ceremony, the President Director of PT Grand Outlet Bali, Tantowi Yahya, said that the Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali Mall will easily exceed the expectations of mall shoppers by offering visitors a new and unique tourism experience of quality shopping, culinary diversions, Balinese art and culture, and recreational opportunities – all in a single location.
“Bali is known internationally for its natural beauty and unique culture. Sira Village, however, will bring something new to the Island of Bali, a destination offering shopping, culinary experiences, and culture in a single location,” said Tantowi.
Continuing, Tantowi said he hoped that Bali’s newest mega-mall would optimize shopping opportunities for island visitors and supplement Indonesia’s foreign exchange earnings while also offering an additional activity option for visitors during their holiday stay.
The Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali Mall showcases more than 100 premium brands at “special” outlet prices. Among the leading brands on sale at Bali’s newest mall are: Coach, Kate Spade, BOSS, Adidas, NIKE, Religion, Puma, Lacoste, Steve Madden, MAP, Feysen, Hazelwood, and Tommy Hilfiger. Also on offer at Sira Village is Indonesia’s first Kinokuniya Book Store

Bali’s Newest International Departure Lounge
Located near the entrance to Bali’s Mandira Toll Road, the Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali Mall is only 15 minutes away from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport. It is configured to accommodate travelers waiting to board domestic or international flights. Beginning in August 2026, the new mall will feature live flight information, allowing shoppers to monitor arrivals and departures in real time. The mall will also provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.
In addition to an almost limitless list of shopping opportunities, the Mall boasts an alfresco green area showcasing local handicrafts, cultural shows, a rooftop bar, and an infinity pool – all suitable as places to while away the hours and enjoy Bali’s spectacular sunsets.
The Executive Officer and General Manager of International Business Developments for Mitsubishi Estate Corporation, Toru Hayamizu, cited the opening of Sira Village, his Company’s second outlet in Indonesia, as an important step in the development of Mitsubishi’s international business profile. Adding, “Bali represents a leading global resort destination and the Kura-Kura Bali Special Economic Zone offers huge potential for sustainable quality tourism.”
Continuing, Hayamizu said that the development of Sira Village, in close cooperation with the people of Bali and a local stakeholder, brings together the diversity of modern-world tourism with the richness of Balinese culture within the single setting of an international-standard outlet mall.
From a design perspective, Sira Village champions the concept of “a Village for Diverse Communities.” This concept is achieved through the seamless interweaving of state-of-the-art architectural design with traditional Balinese design and local sensibilities regarding space and time. Retail shop space surrounds communally shared spaces that are at once familiar and user-friendly, aligned with long-held ethos and beliefs, and that address family values and peaceful coexistence with pets and livestock. Shaded passageways provide access to green landscaped areas open to the adjoining ocean – all apropos to Sira Village’s seaside location.
The Village’s commitment to sustainability and the environment is reflected in the use of local and recyclable building materials, natural cross-ventilation fed by ocean breezes and seasonal winds, and up-to-date measures that “reduce, recycle, and reduce” rubbish and waste. Accordingly, Sira Village is in the process of qualifying for BCA Green Mark Gold Certification as a clear demonstration of an intent to live in a green and sustainable world.
The Friday opening ceremony of Sira Village featured art and cultural performances, a Grand Couture Bali Goddesses Fashion Show focused on traditional Balinese dress, and an exhibition highlighting Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design (ICAD).
