NusaBali reports that Bali tourists, both international and domestic, who want to squeeze in last-minute shopping or some downtime before a late flight from Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport can now easily check flight schedules before heading to the airport, just a 20-minute drive away from Sira Village Grand Outlet Mall.
On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, Sira Village Grand Outlet launched its Flight Information Display System (FIDS), allowing visitors to access real-time flight information directly from the shopping center.
Located at the Information Center in the Main Lobby, the system displays domestic and international departure schedules, airline names, flight numbers, destinations, gate numbers, and flight status changes. Its introduction aims to help tourists manage their shopping time while preparing for their journey to the airport.
Tantowi Yahya, President Director of PT Grand Outlet Bali, said the new facility was introduced to address the concerns of tourists who want to enjoy the remainder of their Bali holiday but also need to keep track of their departure times.
”We fully understand that the worry of missing a flight often overshadows the last day of a vacation. Therefore, the introduction of this FIDS is not merely a facility upgrade, but a way for us to provide comfort and convenience to our visitors in various aspects,” said Tantowi on Friday, 02 October 2026.

According to Tantowi, the flight monitoring facility is part of Sira Village’s effort to create a shopping experience that integrates with tourists’ travel needs. Visitors can not only monitor flight schedules but also utilize luggage storage and airport transportation services provided by helpful staff on standby at the Information Center.
”We want tourists to be able to leave their suitcases with us, shop at their leisure, monitor their flights, and then head to the airport on our shuttle bus without having to rush. It is about delivering a shopping experience that is seamlessly integrated with the tourist’s journey,” he explained. Located within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Sira Village is approximately a 20-minute drive from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport under normal traffic conditions. Its location makes it a convenient stop and staging area for tourists to visit before concluding their holiday in Bali.
In addition to flight information display systems (FIDS), Sira Village offers a complimentary shuttle bus service connecting the outlet area with the domestic and international terminals of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. This free shuttle service operates five trips daily, staggered throughout the day.
Visitors can also use storage lockers that accommodate suitcases measuring up to 30 inches. These facilities let tourists shop or relax without hauling their luggage around the mall.
Visitors have welcomed the flight monitoring facility. Lucy, a tourist from Jombang, East Java, found it helpful to check flight information while spending time at Sira Village.
”Yes, this is my first time at Sira Village. Having this flight information board makes things easier, so I don’t worry about being late. Sometimes we forget to check what time we need to head to the airport,” said Lucy, quoted by NusaBali.
Eva, a visitor from Lombok, shared similar sentiments; she said she planned to use the shuttle service from Sira Village to the airport. She noted that the transport facility simplified her journey and saved time. “I’m taking the shuttle bus to the airport since I heard Sira Village provides one. It’s really helpful because it saves time,” she added.

Schedule for Complimentary Sira Village Mall to Bali Airport Transfers
Data from InJourney Airports—the operating company for I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport—revealed that between January and July 2026, Bali’s airport handled about 80,000 aircraft movements and over 13.2 million passengers. This demonstrated that high levels of traveler mobility were a key factor in Sira Village’s decision to introduce facilities that help travelers manage their limited time between shopping and heading to the airport.
While waiting for their departure, visitors can shop at outlets featuring renowned brands such as Cole Haan, Guess, and Havaianas. Travelers can also browse for books at Kinokuniya or enjoy facial treatments and relaxation services at Glow & Go.
By operating a Flight Information Display System (FIDS)—complemented by airport shuttle services and luggage storage facilities—Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali aims to strengthen its role as a shopping destination that meets travelers’ needs while becoming an integral part of Bali’s tourism ecosystem.
