KOMPAS reports that Indonesian Airline TransNusa will begin flying four times a week between Denpasar, Bali, and Melbourne, Australia, starting Monday, 19 October 2026.
Melbourne will become the second Australian city TransNusa serves, following the recent launch of a Perth-Bali service.
TransNusa will operate an Airbus A320 Aircraft on the Melbourne-Denpasar route configured to seat 174 passengers.
Flights from Melbourne are scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The aircraft will depart Melbourne at 05:25 am local time. Meanwhile, flights from Denpasar to Melbourne will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, leaving Bali late in the evening and landing in Melbourne early the next morning.
The new route will make TransNusa the sixth airline to serve the Melbourne-Bali corridor. With four flights per week, TransNusa’s new service will add over 70,000 seats annually between Melbourne and Bali.
Special Introductory Fares
TransNusa is also offering introductory fares for the new route. Fares start at AU$299 (approximately Rp 3.76 million), while the Premium Plus Service Options start at AU$699 (approximately Rp 8.80 million). These ticket prices include a 20-kilogram checked baggage allowance. Onboard food and beverages, and other supplemental services, are available for purchase separately.
