\u200bKompas<\/em> reports that TransNusa Airline<\/em> has launched a direct flight service connecting Bali (DPS) and Phuket (HKT), Thailand, starting Wednesday, 09 September 2026.<\/p>\n \u200bNugroho Jati, General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia<\/em> at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport,<\/em> said the new route strengthens air connectivity between Indonesia and Thailand. “The launch of this direct Bali-Phuket route is good news for bolstering tourism connectivity within the Southeast Asian region,” Nugroho said in a written statement on Thursday, 10 September 2026.<\/p>\n \u200bThe new Bali\u2013Phuket route operates four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and will expand to daily service beginning October 3, 2026.<\/p>\n \u200bThe inaugural TransNusa flight,<\/em> designated 8B541<\/em>, departed from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport<\/em> in Bali on Wednesday at 11:40 am. The aircraft carried 174 passengers and arrived at Phuket International Airport<\/em> at 2:09 pm local time. Meanwhile, the return flight from Phuket to Bali (8B542) is scheduled to arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport<\/em> at 9:35 pm local time.<\/p>\n \u200bTransNusa\u2019s<\/em> scheduled flight, 8B 541<\/em>, will depart Bali at 11.30 am from I Gusti Ngurah International Airport<\/em> and arrive at Phuket International Airport<\/em> at 14.35, while the return flight, 8B 542<\/em>, will depart the Phuket International Airpor<\/em>t at 15.35 and arrive at I Gusti Ngurah International Airport<\/em> in Bali at 20.35.<\/p>\n \u200bFor the four-hour scheduled flight from Bali to Phuket, TransNusa<\/em> will be utilizing its Airbus A320<\/em>, which has 174 seats.<\/p>\n \u200bTo celebrate the launch, TransNusa<\/em> continues to offer introductory promotional fares starting from Rp 2,399,000 one-way, bookable via the official airline website.<\/p>\n TransNusa’s<\/em> official website ticket prices for the Bali-Phuket route start at Rp 2.3 million for a one-way trip. “We see this route as having the potential to strengthen I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport’s position as an Indonesian tourism hub.
