Siloam Hospitals Bali<\/em> has earned Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) for Stroke Treatment from Joint Commission International (JCI),<\/em> an international accreditation for hospitals that meet comprehensive stroke care standards. The achievement underscores Siloam Hospitals Bali\u2019s<\/em> readiness to provide fast, integrated services for stroke patients.<\/p>\n

\u200bThis certification complements the WSO Angels Recognition<\/em> that Siloam Hospitals Bali earned in 2025. The CCPC for Stroke Treatment<\/em> assesses a hospital\u2019s readiness across emergency services, rapid diagnosis, medical treatment, and patient rehabilitation, based on the latest international clinical standards.<\/p>\n

\u200bStrokes represent one of the main health problems in Indonesia. Data shows that this disease is the main cause of disability and contributes to around 18.5 percent of total deaths in Indonesia. In cases of ischemic stroke, there is a golden period of around 4.5 hours from the appearance of symptoms to provide appropriate therapy, so the speed of treatment is an important factor in increasing the patient’s chances of recovery.<\/p>\n

\u200bHospital Director Siloam Hospitals Bali<\/em>, Dr. Ni Gusti Ayu Putri Mayuni, said that the certification validates the stroke service system that the hospital has established.<\/p>\n

\u200b”For us, this certification is not the final goal, but rather recognition that the stroke service system we have built meets international standards. What is most important is how these standards are translated into services that are fast, safe, coordinated, and provide better recovery opportunities for each patient,”  said Dr. Mayuni on Thursday, 16 July 2026.<\/p>\n

\u200bHe added that the hospital will continue to evaluate and improve service quality so that people can receive stroke treatment in line with international standards without having to seek care abroad.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe stroke service program at Siloam Hospitals Bali<\/em> includes an integrated treatment flow, starting from the emergency department, radiology and laboratory examinations, reperfusion therapy (according to indications), intensive care, medical rehabilitation, and education for patients and families. The entire process is carried out in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines (evidence-based practice) and is evaluated regularly.<\/p>\n

\u200bApart from being supported by multidisciplinary doctors, the hospital also has diagnostic facilities, imaging services, laboratories, and a clinical coordination system designed to speed up medical decision-making.<\/p>\n

\u200bHospital data records maintained by Siloam Hospitals Bali<\/em> show that from August 2025 to January 2026, there were 44 stroke patients treated in accordance with CCPC for Stroke Treatment.<\/em> Of that number, four patients underwent intravenous thrombolysis therapy, while one patient received .<\/p>\n

The hospital reported that approximately 93 percent of patients improved after receiving treatment.<\/p>\n

\u200bAccording to the hospital, this achievement shows the importance of a fast, coordinated, and evidence-based service system in increasing chances of recovery while reducing the risk of disability due to stroke.<\/p>\n

\u200bAs part of the Siloam International Hospitals network<\/em>, Siloam Hospitals Bali<\/em> implements integrated clinical management through multidisciplinary collaboration, with a focus on patient safety. It is hoped that the CCPC for Stroke Certification <\/em>will further strengthen the quality of stroke services available to people in Bali and the surrounding region.<\/p>\n
