{"id":497,"date":"2026-07-12T12:33:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-12T12:33:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wlbrs-catalog.ru\/?p=497"},"modified":"2026-07-12T12:33:42","modified_gmt":"2026-07-12T12:33:42","slug":"bank-indonesia-pledges-to-go-all-out-to-stabilize-rupiah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wlbrs-catalog.ru\/?p=497","title":{"rendered":"Bank Indonesia Pledges to Go \u201cAll Out\u201d to Stabilize Rupiah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/bank-indonesia-pledges-to-go-all-out-to-stabilize-rupiah-3710510.jpg\" alt=\"Bank Indonesia Pledges to Go &ldquo;All Out&rdquo; to Stabilize Rupiah\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>NusaBali<\/em> reports that <em>Bank Indonesia<\/em> has pledged to use its full range of financial instruments and policies to stabilize the Rupiah against the strengthening US Dollar, following changes in monetary policy by the <em>US Federal Reserve (The Fed)<\/em>. <em>Bank Indonesia <\/em>will also coordinate with the Central Government to control inflation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bThe Executive Director of Communications for<em> Bank Indonesia (BI),<\/em> Ramdan Denny Prakoso, said <em>BI<\/em> will not remain silent amid global financial market turmoil. \u201cBank Indonesia will not remain silent. Bank Indonesia, as usual, will go all out to keep the rupiah stable with a tendency to strengthen,\u201d Ramdan said in Jakarta on Tuesday, 07 July 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bRamdan explained that the pressure on the Rupiah was triggered by hawkish signals from several Fed officials after the <em>Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) <\/em>meeting in June 2026. The conditions pushed the <em>US Dollar Index (DXY)<\/em> up from around 95 in January to 101 by the end of June, the highest level in a year, putting added pressure on a number of currencies in developing countries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bTo maintain Rupiah stability, <em>BI<\/em> continues round-the-clock intervention in both domestic and foreign financial markets.
