The Bali edition featured two culinary talents hailing from northern and southern Italy. Giorgio Bartolucci, a <em>Michelin-recognized chef <\/em>who hails from the northern Italian town of Domodossola, and Alessandro D&#8217;Amico, from Sicily. Giorgio\u2019s contribution enabled him to share culinary delights from <em>AMICI Bali<\/em>, which celebrates the dining experience of his hometown.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/a-conflation-of-north-south-italian-cuisine-at-the-trans-resort-bali-a06266d.jpg\" alt=\"A Conflation of North &amp; South Italian Cuisine at The Trans Resort Bali\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/a-conflation-of-north-south-italian-cuisine-at-the-trans-resort-bali-3d3f43a.jpg\" alt=\"A Conflation of North &amp; South Italian Cuisine at The Trans Resort Bali\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bSpeaking at the rooftop event where he presented a rooftop live-cooking demonstration before an appreciative group of interested gourmands, Giorgio said: \u201cWhen I am at my restaurant in Bali, I feel like I am back home in, Italy. I recall the delicious parmigiana, made with baked mozzarella and tomato sauce, I enjoyed in Sicily.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bWhile the two chefs, Giorgio and Allexxandro, come from two areas of Italy separated by 1,000 kilometers, their combined cooking gave birth to an exciting new culinary sensation. \u201cWe combine elements from Italy\u2019s north and south to create something that is a new and unique experience for our guests. The results are deliciously successful,\u201d said Alessandro.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/a-conflation-of-north-south-italian-cuisine-at-the-trans-resort-bali-f97ef5f.jpg\" alt=\"A Conflation of North &amp; South Italian Cuisine at The Trans Resort Bali\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stefano Gianfriddo<\/strong>    <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bDuring the evening, participants enjoyed four<em> canap\u00e9s:<\/em> <em>Amici Basket <\/em>featuring creamy eggplant, tomato sauce, and Pecorino cheese;<em> \u2018Michelin Star\u2019 mini beef burgers;<\/em> <em>Crispy Cannellone<\/em>&nbsp; that combined duck with a spicy caramel sauce; and <em>Foie Gras Pate Terrine by Atelier <\/em>accented with candied onions. After savoring the canap\u00e9s<em> <\/em>served<em> <\/em>with quality wines and signature cocktails, the chefs took charge at a live cooking station to prepare <em>Pasta alla Norma and Friends<\/em> &#8211; a salutary combination of handmade Rigatoni Pasta lathered in tomato sauce, smoked eggplant, and salty Ricotta Cheese.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bStefano Gianfriddo, Resort Manager of <em>The Trans Resort Bali,<\/em> summarized the evening, which concluded a week-long series of <em>JRE Culinary Events<\/em>, saying:\u201dTHE TABLE by JRE is more than a dining event;
