{"id":293,"date":"2026-06-15T04:34:54","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T04:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wlbrs-catalog.ru\/?p=293"},"modified":"2026-06-15T04:34:54","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T04:34:55","slug":"plans-afoot-to-construct-an-underpass-in-tohpati-bali-in-2027","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wlbrs-catalog.ru\/?p=293","title":{"rendered":"Plans Afoot to Construct an Underpass in Tohpati, Bali in 2027."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/plans-afoot-to-construct-an-underpass-in-tohpati-bali-in-2027-9ad6855.jpg\" alt=\"Plans Afoot to Construct an Underpass in Tohpati, Bali in 2027.\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bAs reported by <em>NusaBali<\/em>, plans to construct an underpass at the Tohpati Interchange in Denpasar, Bali, now await a formal budget allocation from Indonesia\u2019s Central Government that will permit construction to commence in 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<em>The Secretary for Public Works and Zoning (PUPR) for the City of Denpasar,<\/em> Putu Tony Marthana Wijaya, has stated that the Tohpati Underpass Project will be funded from the national budget (<em>APBN<\/em>) and will be built under the direct supervision of national officials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bBali Provincial involvement will be largely limited to technical planning and the <em>Detail Engineering Design (DED).<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bOnly once the final <em>Detail Engineering Design<\/em> is completed, will the project\u2019s need for additional land area will be known.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/plans-afoot-to-construct-an-underpass-in-tohpati-bali-in-2027-6d5247c.webp\" alt=\"Plans Afoot to Construct an Underpass in Tohpati, Bali in 2027.\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bThe need for the Tohpati Interchange underpass has been identified as a solution to traffic congestion in East Denpasar, where traffic to and from Denpasar, Gianyar, Klungkung, Karangasem, the Ida Bagus Mantra Highway, and Ngurah Rai Bypass all converge. Because of this traffic convergence, gridlock at the Tohpati interchange is commonplace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bIn addition to an underpass at the Tohpati Interchange, plans are also under consideration for the Jalan Gatot Subroto-Jalan Cokroaminoto intersection.
