At the heart of nearly every work is a source of light, breaking through deep blues and darkness, rising from water, unfolding from a flower, glowing from the heart or the womb. The works explore transformation: the quiet alchemy by which light, warmth, and love soften what has hardened. Drawing on enduring themes of the feminine, birth, sexuality, nature and creativity, forms emerge, dissolve and reappear, inviting the viewer’s imagination to participate in what is seen.

In addition to conventional paintings on canvas, selected works at the Ubud exhibition are printed on suspended panels of translucent chiffon, allowing light to pass through the images and visitors to walk among them.
