In Bali, <em>Police Brigadier General Dr. Pasma Royce, S.I.K., M.H.<\/em>, has been appointed as <em>Bali\u2019s Provincial Chief of Police (Kapolda Bali),<\/em> replacing Inspector <em>General Daniel Adityajaya, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bThis change at the top of Bali\u2019s Police is part of a leadership rotation within the <em>Indonesian National Police (Polri),<\/em> as outlined in the <em>National Police Chief&#8217;s Telegram Letter Number ST\/2205\/X\/KEP.\/2026.<\/em> That telegram detailed the transfer and appointment of several high-ranking officers (<em>Pati<\/em>) and mid-ranking officers (<em>Pamen<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bUnder this reshuffle in the Bali Police top command, General Daniel Adityajaya was reassigned as a high-ranking officer (<em>Pati<\/em>) attached to the <em>Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri)<\/em> for an assignment outside the standard police organizational structure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bFollowing the shift in the Police command structure, the position of Bali Provincial Police Chief has been handed to Pasma Royce, whose previous post was Deputy Provincial Police Chief in East Java (Wakapolda).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/introducing-balis-new-top-policeman-generalnbsp-dr-pasma-royce-sik-mh-5f846d3.jpg\" alt=\"Introducing Bali&rsquo;s New Top Policeman: General&nbsp; Dr. Pasma Royce, S.I.K., M.H\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Police Brigadier General Dr. Pasma Royce, S.I.K., M.H.<\/em>    <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u200bPasma Royce<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pasma Royce (51) is a career law enforcement officer. Born in Bandung, West Java, on 18 December 1974, he graduated from the <em>National Police Academy (Akpol)<\/em> in 1996.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bPasma&#8217;s police background includes extensive experience in criminal investigation. His career within the National Police has included various strategic positions at both the regional level and National Police Headquarters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bAfter graduating from the <em>Police Academy,<\/em> Pasma continued his police education by attending the <em>College of Police Science (PTIK),<\/em> the <em>Police Staff and Leadership School (Sespim),<\/em> and the <em>Police Staff and Leadership School for High-Ranking Officers (Sespimti)<\/em> in 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bIn 2015, Pasma was appointed as&nbsp; <em>Police Chief (Kapolres)<\/em> in the border regency of Nunukan, North Kalimantan. Later, Pasma was appointed <em>Deputy City Police Chief (Wakapolresta) of Sidoarjo, East Java,<\/em> in 2017.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bA year later, he was assigned as the <em>Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) for the Bengkulu Regional Police in West Sumatra.<\/em> In 2019, Pasma was appointed as the <em>Director of Special Criminal Investigation for the Central Kalimantan Regional Police.<\/em> His growing experience in criminal investigation then led him to the <em>Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) at National Police Headquarters<\/em> in Jakarta.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/introducing-balis-new-top-policeman-generalnbsp-dr-pasma-royce-sik-mh-b535efc.jpg\" alt=\"Introducing Bali&rsquo;s New Top Policeman: General&nbsp; Dr. Pasma Royce, S.I.K., M.H\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bali Provincial Police Headquarters<\/strong>    <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bIn 2021, Pasma served as a <em>Senior Policy Analyst for Special Economic Crimes at Bareskrim at the National Police Headquarters,<\/em> followed by an appointment as <em>Senior Investigator (Level II) for Criminal Acts at Jakarta Police HQ.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bIn 2022, Pasma Royce was again shifted to lead the <em>West Jakarta Metro Police Precinct<\/em>.
