For the same period this year, the number of active cases has zoomed to 35,000.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/dengue-fever-rates-at-record-highs-bbf7832.jpg\" alt=\"Dengue Fever Rates at Record Highs\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to a report from the <em>Health Ministry&#8217;s Director General for the Prevention and Control of Disease (Ditjen P2P),<\/em> the steadily growing trend in <em>DBD <\/em>began in February 2024, with 15,977 cases.<\/p>\n<p>Tangerang, West Bandung, the City of Kendarim Subangm, and Lebak are the five cities and regencies reporting the highest level of <em>DBD cases<\/em> of illness and death connected to the disease.<\/p>\n<p>Through mid-March 2024, the <em>Ditjen P2P<\/em> reported 124 fatalities connected to <em>DB<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Nadia blamed Global Warning, including the <em>El Nino Effect,<\/em> as triggering the current spike in <em>DBD cases<\/em>. She explained that the increase in warm weather accelerates the life cycle of the mosquitoes that spread DBD.
