Therefore, conducting the Airport Emergency Exercise is crucial for testing and ensuring the readiness of all relevant parties to handle emergencies,\u201d said Nugroho Jati, General Manager of <em>I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport,<\/em> on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bHe added that the <em>Airport Emergency Exercise (AEE)<\/em> aims to test the effectiveness of the <em>Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) Document<\/em> and the emergency response procedures currently in place at <em>I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/this-is-only-a-test-balis-ngurah-rai-airport-to-hold-airport-emergency-exercise-10d61a9.jpg\" alt=\"This is Only a Test! Bali&rsquo;s Ngurah Rai Airport to Hold Airport Emergency Exercise\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bThe exercise will also enhance personnel preparedness and ensure that command, coordination, and communication functions\u2014both between internal units and relevant agencies\u2014operate effectively in various emergency scenarios. \u201cFor this AEE, we are conducting three exercise scenarios: a Building Fire Exercise, an Airport Security Exercise, and an Aircraft Accident Exercise. Each scenario is designed to test personnel readiness and procedural effectiveness in handling various situations\u2014ranging from building fires and airport security breaches to simulated aircraft accident responses,\u201d explained Nugroho Jati.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bAlongside these exercises, <em>I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport<\/em> urges all airport users within the airport complex to remain calm, avoid panic, and follow instructions from airport personnel if they observe drill-related activities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u200bThe Airport Emergency Exercise (AEE)<\/em> uses scenarios that mirror actual emergency conditions to identify areas for evaluation and refine established procedures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200bThe activity also tests coordination channels, synergy, and the readiness of the entire airport community to deliver a rapid, precise, and well-directed response in an emergency.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/this-is-only-a-test-balis-ngurah-rai-airport-to-hold-airport-emergency-exercise-013c626.webp\" alt=\"This is Only a Test!
